I'm thinking of restructuring the forum boards, since 95% of discussions happen way down in the bottom area known as "miscellaneous - watercooler".  It might make sense to move this board up more towards the top, but I'll have to get with e-effect to see if we want to move any of the Toobix-themed boards around.  In any case, we can add more boards under miscellaneous, so everything isn't lumped together.

I'm just doing this off the top of my head, so any feedback is welcome.  What do you guys think of the boards below, and/or what boards would you like to see? I know this is not the most important thing ever, but just indulge me this once...

Miscellaneous
- Gaming
- Game Development
- Star Wars
- Cool Sites
- Videos
- Why isn't DPRN out yet
... anything else? some kind of techie area for computer hardware talk?

I like the general Watercooler area without any subdivisions myself because you always get a nice surprise not knowing what might be posted.  Plus, it doesn't put any mental restrictions on you for what to post.  If you're wanting to focus the discussion on game/geek related stuff on the forum then it would be a good idea to subdivide it, but I like a more broad area of discussion of the forum myself and would prefer not to focus the Watercooler on game/geek stuff.  Really, just being that the forum is run by an indie video game company will dictate what categories of posts show up here anyway since our audience will have a predilection for certain game/geek interests naturally.  I think this is definitely reflected in many of the topics that are posted, but I don't think we should narrow it just because of a predominance of one area over another.  I still enjoy talking to you guys about all kinds of different stuff, though, and like the idea of just keeping it open.

Also, if you're really interested in a particular topic like star wars, you can always just search for it.  Type in star wars here to see an example.

I believe you could cut out some of the clutter by removing the "Game Development" category. From what I've seen, that board is just some links to some unfinished pages made over two years ago and some posts by internet trolls who like to heckle t-shirt company executives. That is unless of course you actually plan on doing some game development, then I guess you can leave it. Otherwise you might stick with:
1.) Star Wars Games Coming Soon
2.) Star Wars Tech We'd Like to see in reality
3.) Star Wars Toys
4.) Star Wars T-Shirts
5.) Video Games other than Star Wars
6.) Why Ninjas Suck Compared to Pirates
7.) The movie I saw last week other than Star Wars
8.) Links to actual gaming sites and or companies that produce games

lol

I'm beginning to regret continuing this discussion.  But I must say the weekly kick in the butt by Grex here is helping speed along my work as well as being quite humorous.

We do have some cool old topics not Star Wars related that might be fun to revive.

Ok, it turns out this was all an elaborate ruse so that I would have an excuse to post a new star wars video, but since you wont let me have my own category, I guess I'll post it here.

The first one was definitely the best musically.  "We got Death Star!  We got Death Star!"

Creatively #1 is the original and best.

That being said, I have the beat from #3 running through my head constantly today.... "I can feel your anger running deep within you!"

Need more anger...

Me and the E decided to go ahead and reorganize the forum a little bit.  All your original posts are still here, they just might get moved to one of the new boards in the near future.  Also feel free to suggest new boards if you think they are needed.
