Q: So did you guys set up a t-shirt factory in your basement, or what?
A: Not quite. Toobix has partnered with Spreadshirt, a company that specializes in high-quality printing techniques for t-shirts, hats, and other apparell. So when you order from the Gamer Gear Shop and receive a package from Spreadshirt, don't be alarmed. They're with us.
Q: Ohhh, so are you using some kind of crappy digital transfer like other websites use?
A: Not at all. Our shirts are printed using Flex Plot Printing. This is a printing technique where the design is cut from a colored foil and then pressed onto the shirt under high heat. The end result is far superior than what you would get with a digital transfer. The benefits of using plot printing include more vibrant colors, as well as higher durability. We want you to look good for a long, long time.
UPDATE: We are now also offering select designs in Flock Plot Printing. Flock is a printing technique where the design is cut from a colored foil and then pressed onto the shirt under high heat, similar to flex. However, a flock print has a velvety, fuzzy surface. The foil (0.5 mm) is somewhat thicker than flex, which causes the design to appear slightly elevated from the apparel and results in the plush feel. The colors have a soft glow to them. Designs using flock will be specially marked on the main gamer gear shop page.
Q: Do you take returns/exchanges?
A: We are currently operating on a print-on-demand schedule and are not keeping a warehouse of extra merchandise. As a result, we are not able to accept returns at this time. However, products from the Gamer Gear Shop can be exchanged within 14 days of receipt.
Q: What about cancellations?
A: A new order can be cancelled or changed without any problem only if the production process has not yet begun. The link to your order status page can be found in your order confirmation email. If your order is labeled “wait” or as “new”, you will be able to cancel your order. Refer to this page for more information.
Q: Ok, so what do I do if there is a problem with my order?
A: If there was a error in the printing process, or if some other mistake was made, we definitely want to get that corrected as soon as possible. The first thing you should do in this case is send an email to service@spreadshirt.com within 30 days to coordinate an acceptable solution. Be sure to include your order number and a detailed explanation of the problem. You can also send an email to the Toobix Overlords via the CONTACT page, and we'll point you in the right direction and do what we can to help you get the issue resolved.
